So 2014 was an interesting year for me as an author. I released two books (Legend Of North Lake & Other Short Stories, & Mr. Witcher) as well as the first story of many in the (Santa Claus:Monster Hunter) Series. I also released a revised edition of (The Returners) It was a busy and good year.

It was a year of great strides for me in the development of my writing style and growth as a writer in general. It's something I feel is always evolving and changing, whether you've been writing for a year or twenty. That personal growth and improvement is something every writer strives for. It's one of the fun parts about being a writer and creating. When you get complacent, and it becomes mundane, I think that's when it loses some its charm and become stale.

Most importantly I learned a lot about myself in the process, and continue to learn with each project I tackle. Learning what my strong points are, learning what my weaknesses, and knowing sometimes you just have to say, "The hell with it." Learning when to push the boundries of your comfort zone, and go out on a limb. It's all part of the process, a process you can either embrace or hide from. I feel like 2014 was the year I started to learn to embrace the process other than fear it. That's been a big part of why I feel I've made a lot of positive strides in 2014.

Last but not least, there are a few groups of people I'd like to thank, who's support has meant the world too me- I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to read one of my works this year. Your support is greatly appreciated, the fact that some of you take time to write reviews and leave comments about your thoughts on the stories is always a great motivating factor. My literary coharts-Steve White, Brad Dennison & Lucas Brilliot. You guys have been such a huge help in my development. I know I can go to you guys with ideas, finished stories or just talk with you about writing in general and you're always there to lend an ear. It's good to have that close knit circle of people who-good or bad will let you know what they think.

Thank you all for a great 2014, lets make 2015 even better.

Tj
