It's been awhile.

So back in April. I hit a wall and I hit it hard. I went from the creative wellspring overflowing, to it being bone dry. It was like someone flicked a switch and forgot to turn it back on. Since I began writing again I have never had that happen, at least not as productivity stopping as that.

For nearly five months I've been at a standstill with any and all projects I've been working on. It wasn't until a few weeks ago that some water began returning to the well. It wasn't much at first, but then all of a sudden the levy broke and it came gushing in. For the first time in five months, my creative mojo was back. What it produced was a short story called 'End Of Message'. I'm currently working on revisions and editing. I'm hoping to have it out by the end of this month, but we'll see. The creative resurgance didn't stop there. I also started working on a short story that I've had rolling around in my idea box for over a year. I was just never sure what to do with it, but all of a sudden and idea to tie it all together came to me. So in between working on 'End Of Message' I'm working on that. I have zero time frame on when that may be ready, but I will be sure to keep you updated.

For now I'm just enjoying having some creativity back, and having a blast working on these shorts and I think for now I'm going to continue down that road. I have a few books on the backburnder. They'll be there, ready when it's time. For once, I'm okay with that and just going with the flow.
